An
article in the Wall Street Journal discussing the future strategy of
Microsoft's cellphone development references the launch of paid
applications in Google's Android Market. Slip up or is it possible
we'll see paid apps this week?
This week Google will start allowing developers to
charge for software sold through the Android Market, according to
people familiar with the matter.
With the RC33 update scheduled
to be completed by February 15th and Mobile World Congress starting on
February 16th, it certainly sounds like a perfect stage for the launch.
Now
that we have all enjoyed months of free apps, are you ready to drop
your hard earned dollars for paid apps? What apps are you hoping will
be available in the new paid section of the Android Market? Let us know
in the comments below.
