A newly released app for the G1 allows you to quickly and easily
share your smartphones internet connection with your laptop. The app, PdaNet
is currently available to download however it is still in beta. Currently, PdaNet is a free app, however once
out of beta it will become a paid app.
Setup is quick and easy, just download the app on your computer,
then follow the instructions for setup. That process will automatically
install PdaNet on your G1. Once the setup and installation is complete,
a quick click of the PdaNet icon will have you sharing your connection.
Although I have not used PdaNet on Android (or any other platform), it is a
highly rated app that has been around for a while on other mobile device
such as those running PalmOS or Windows Mobile as well as the BlackBerry and the iPhone.
