Google has announced a new Finance for Android app that is available now in the Android Market. Finance for Android links up with the online Google Finance website, and allows users to view real-time streaming quotes in their portfolio, access fast stock look-ups with search auto-suggestion, and call up “recent quotes” to check figures on-the-go.

App Review: Google My Tracks

When you first launch My Tracks, you will be greeted with a world map as your phone acquires a GPS fix. One press of the menu brings up the available options and with a tap of the thumb you can begin recording information.  As you begin to move, an orange arrow will show your direction while a red tail shows the path.  The display seems to keep the entire path visible on the screen while you are recording, but you have the option to move around the map by dragging it.

Want to track your favorite team? This is the app for you! Upon opening the app for the first time, you’re greeted with tiles for the major sports of NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, NCAAF, NCAAB, WNBA, and CFL.  In addition to all of these, you also have a Favs icon.
